Nana-banana's Summer Salad
When my kids were young, they loved eating this salad lovingly prepared by their Nana-banana. It's still a summer favorite today.
Combine all ingredients. Cover & chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
- 3 ripe tomatoes, cut into chunks
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 large Vidalia (sweet) onion, diced
- 1 cup Italian dressing, homemade or store-bought (my mom always uses Wishbone's Robusto Italian)
- sea salt & freshly gound black pepper, to taste
Combine all ingredients. Cover & chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
