​Spelt Bread

Dry ingredients:
  • 4 c. whole spelt flour
  • 1 Tab. sucanat or turbinado sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Himalayan pink rock salt

Wet ingredients:
  • 2 c. + 2 Tab. milk
  • 1 Tab. oil
  • 2 tsp. unfiltered apple cider vinegar 

Options:  Add sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon & raisins, etc.



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Grease glass loaf pan with butter.
  2. In large bowl, mix together dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients.
  3. Bake for 55 minutes.
  4. Cool on wire rack.  Eat within 3 – 4 days.
