Spelt Bread
Dry ingredients:
Wet ingredients:
Options: Add sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon & raisins, etc.
- 4 c. whole spelt flour
- 1 Tab. sucanat or turbinado sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. Himalayan pink rock salt
Wet ingredients:
- 2 c. + 2 Tab. milk
- 1 Tab. oil
- 2 tsp. unfiltered apple cider vinegar
Options: Add sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon & raisins, etc.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease glass loaf pan with butter.
- In large bowl, mix together dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients.
- Bake for 55 minutes.
- Cool on wire rack. Eat within 3 – 4 days.
