Greek Seasoning Blend

  • 2 tsp.       sea salt 
  • 2 tsp.       oregano 
  • 1 tsp.       basil 
  • 1 tsp.       dried marjoram
  • 1 tsp.       dried parsley.
  • 1 tsp.       black pepper 
  • ½ tsp.      ground cinnamon       
  • ½ tsp.      lemon peel                  
  • ½ tsp.      dried thyme                 
  • ¼ tsp.      dried dill                       
  • ¼ tsp.      ground nutmeg       

Blend ingredients together in clean coffee grinder or with mortar and pestle.  Store in small mason jar away from light and heat.  

Greek Dressing

  • Greek Seasoning Blend (above)
  • Apple cider vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
  • Extra virgin olive oil   

When ready to use, mix 2 Tab. seasoning blend in 2 Tab. water; let sit 5 minutes.  Add 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar (or red wine vinegar) and ½ cup extra virgin olive oil.  

½ Recipe: Mix 1 Tab. in 1 Tab. water; let sit 5 minutes.  Add 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar (or red wine vinegar) and ½ cup extra virgin olive oil.

Great over green salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, kalamata olives and feta cheese.  Also wonderful as a marinade for chicken and vegetables (onions, zucchini, red bell peppers, mushrooms).
