Baked Fruit Breakfast

  • 1-2 chopped apples or pears (see below for more options)
  • 2 Tab. raisins or chopped dates
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cardamom
  • pinch of ground cloves
  • pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tsp. ghee
  • 1 cup water
 
Combine all ingredients in small pot (use enough water to reach half the level of the apples). Heat on medium until apples are tender. 
 
Bananas are wonderful in the Fall and Winter. Try fresh berries in the Spring and Summer!
