Dynamic Neuromucular Stabilization (DNS)
Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, commonly referred to as DNS, is a rehabilitation approach designed to improve movement patterns. Since motor control is largely established during the first critical years of life, DNS emphasizes neurodevelopmental aspects of motor control in order to eliminate dysfunction of the movement system.
Optimal movement begins with the correct functioning of the postural system, which is responsible for maintaining a stable body position during any activity.
